Eco-camp

A children's summer camp called Eco-Tourism, which aims to introduce middle school students to the natural environment in areas with snow leopards, has been operating for the past 10 years, starting in 2013, with the support of the IHS Research Center in the Tost Tosonbumbyn Nuruunu Nature Reserve, Gurvantes soum, Umnugovi aimag.
In order to expand the program, we will work with secondary school teachers in each aimag where snow leopards live to develop and implement a one-day excursion program tailored to the local area, and support eco-club activities.
This training, which takes place in the leopard's habitat during the training, provides students with the opportunity to learn about wildlife, its habitat, plants, water sources, and pastures in a simple and interesting way, and is important in shaping children into citizens who are friendly to their native land and environment.
The goal of the program is to develop future generations as environmentally friendly citizens, and the following objectives are being pursued to achieve this goal:
Improving teachers' skills
Widespread environmental education
Creating a model of eco-friendly travel
To create an animal-friendly attitude among local communities and children
